Promoting Cycling in Kayseri, Events for Women in Kayseri

The project aimed at the utilisation and promotion of using cycling for transportation in Kayseri and creates a public awareness on the advantages of using bikes in the cities.
The project chose women living in Kayseri as its target group and tried to encourage them in using bicycle in the city through certain events, information meetings, courses and cycling events. Several interviews with local authorities, survey studies and a training event were held for the establishment of social and physical infrastructure in the city for cycling.
